Physical Properties:Semicrystalline thermoplastic polymer, supplied as white or off-white pellets with low viscosity and high flowability. Density is approx. 1.30 g/cm³, melting point approx. 343°C, glass transition temperature approx. 143°C, and continuous service temperature approx. 250°C. It exhibits excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, flame retardancy (UL94 V-0) and mechanical strength. It is stable in most solvents and only soluble in strong acids such as concentrated sulfuric acid.
Uses:Primarily used in automotive applications for engine surrounding parts and precision structural components, such as seals, bearing retainers, valve plates and sensor housings. Its high temperature resistance, oil resistance and excellent dimensional stability allow it to replace metal, enabling lightweight design and long-term reliable operation.
