Physical Properties:PET rod is a white or black polyethylene terephthalate rod material with a specific gravity of 1.39 g/cm³. It exhibits excellent mechanical strength, rigidity and hardness, good sliding performance and wear resistance, superior to nylon. It has good electrical insulation, excellent creep resistance, low and stable friction coefficient; dimensional stability better than POM, low water absorption, physiological inertness, suitable for food contact. Good weather resistance and chemical stability, resistant to weak acids and organic solvents, but not resistant to hot water immersion or alkalis. Continuous service temperature 115°C, short-term service temperature 160°C.
Uses:Widely used in textile, papermaking, food machinery, transportation, wharf, medical, coal mining, chemical and other industries. Suitable for bearings, guides, food processing machine heads, pistons, screw rolls and other food fixtures and components, as well as precision machine bearings and electrical insulation materials.
