Physical Properties:High-crystallinity linear polymer. Density approx. 1.42 g/cm³, opaque; good solvent resistance but poor resistance to strong acids; mold shrinkage approx. 2%~2.8%. Melting point approx. 175°C; thermal degradation is quite rapid at elevated temperatures, and thermo-oxidative degradation occurs in the presence of oxygen; low water absorption, low friction coefficient, and good dimensional stability.
Uses:Used in the automotive industry to manufacture water pumps, carburetor parts, power valves, universal joint bearings, crankshafts, buckles, oil pipes, bearings, motor gears, dashboards, window lifters, electrical switches, safety buckles, etc.; in mechanical manufacturing to produce gears, drive shafts, chains, valves, valve stem nuts, bearings, cams, impellers, rollers, nozzles, guide rails, bushings, pipe fittings, and other transmission parts. It is also used in electronics, electrical appliances, and household appliances for plugs, switches, buttons, relays, washing machine pulleys, electronic equipment housings, and various appliance parts, as well as in precision instruments, fire water guns, pen barrels and caps, toys, combs, zippers, mascara wands, and other consumer goods.
