Physical Properties:Melting point up to 167°C, good heat resistance, products can be sterilized by steam; density 0.90 g/cm3, the lightest general-purpose plastic; corrosion resistant, tensile strength 30 MPa, with better strength, rigidity and transparency than polyethylene; poor low-temperature impact resistance and relatively easy to age, but can be overcome by modification and adding antioxidants.
Uses:General-purpose polypropylene, suitable for injection molding, extrusion, blow molding and other processing methods, used to make medical devices, heat-resistant containers, pipes, sheets and fiber products.
