- PPE为非结晶性树脂，分子链含有大量芳香环结构，机械强度较高，耐蠕变性优良，温度变化影响小。玻璃化温度211℃，熔点268℃，密度约1.06 g/cm³，吸水率极低，耐水性优异，在热水中长时间浸泡其物理性能下降很少。阻燃性良好，氧指数29，具有自熄性，添加含磷阻燃剂即可达到UL94标准。对酸、碱和洗涤剂等基本不受腐蚀；在受力情况下，矿物油及酮类、酯类溶剂会产生应力开裂，脂肪烃、卤代脂肪烃和芳香烃可使其溶胀和溶解。耐光性较差，长时间在阳光或荧光灯下使用易变黄。

Physical Properties:PPE is a non-crystalline resin whose molecular chain contains a large number of aromatic ring structures, offering high mechanical strength, excellent creep resistance, and minimal sensitivity to temperature changes. It has a glass transition temperature of 211°C, a melting point of 268°C, a density of approximately 1.06 g/cm³, extremely low water absorption, and excellent water resistance with minimal loss of physical properties after prolonged immersion in hot water. It exhibits good flame retardancy with an oxygen index of 29 and is self-extinguishing; phosphorus-containing flame retardants can achieve the UL94 standard. It is essentially resistant to acids, alkalis, and detergents; however, under stress, mineral oils, ketones, and ester solvents may cause stress cracking, while aliphatic, halogenated aliphatic, and aromatic hydrocarbons can cause swelling and dissolution. Its light resistance is poor, with yellowing occurring after prolonged exposure to sunlight or fluorescent light.
Uses:Suitable for manufacturing heat-resistant parts, insulating parts, wear-resistant and friction-reducing parts, transmission parts, medical and electronic components, as well as electrical parts such as motors, rotors, casings, and transformers. It can be used for gears, fan blades, and valves operating at elevated temperatures, replacing stainless steel. It is also used in automotive components such as instrument panels, radiator grilles, connectors, and relay boxes, as well as household appliance parts including televisions and air conditioners.
