Physical Properties:This product is a polypropylene homopolymer, supplied as white granules with a density of about 0.90 g/cm³ and a melt flow index of 36 g/10min (230°C/2.16kg). It has an Izod impact strength of 2.4 kJ/m², heat deflection temperature of 110°C, Rockwell hardness of R100, flexural modulus of 13500 kg/cm², elongation at break of >50%, and tensile strength at yield of 340 kg/cm². It features high fluidity, high crystallinity, excellent heat resistance, electrical insulation and chemical resistance; insoluble in water and generally insoluble in common organic solvents at room temperature, stable to acids, alkalis and salt solutions.
Uses:Mainly used in the production of polypropylene fibers, suitable for high-speed spinning, staple fiber and nonwoven fabric processes. It can be processed into polypropylene fiber, geotextile, filter materials and other products, offering high strength, good corrosion resistance and excellent abrasion resistance.
