Uses:Suitable for manufacturing heat-resistant parts, insulating parts, anti-friction and wear-resistant parts, transmission parts, medical and electronic components. It can be used in electronic and electrical appliances, automobiles, home appliances, office equipment and industrial machinery for making gears, fan blades, valves, connectors, automobile instrument panels, fuse boxes, relay boxes and other components. It can also be used to produce corrosion-resistant parts such as pipes, valves, filter plates and submersible pumps.
Technical Specifications:
Molding temperature: 280-330°C for polyphenylene oxide, 260-285°C for modified PPO; melt temperature 270-290°C.
Mold temperature: 100-150°C. Below 100°C, thin-wall parts may be underfilled; above 150°C, defects like bubbles, silver streaks and warpage may occur.
Injection pressure: 100-140 MPa, holding pressure at 40%-60% of injection pressure, back pressure 3-10 MPa.
Molding shrinkage is relatively small, typically 0.2%-0.7%, giving excellent dimensional stability.
Pre-drying required: dry at 110°C for 2 hours; drying temperature should not exceed 150°C.
