Physical Properties:PPO plastic raw material is amber transparent or translucent granules with a density of about 1.08 g/cm³, low specific gravity, low water absorption and good dimensional stability. It exhibits outstanding low-temperature resistance with a brittle temperature of about -170°C, flame retardancy and excellent electrical insulation properties, with a molding shrinkage of 0.2%-0.7%. Adding glass fiber can improve its heat resistance and tensile strength.
Uses:Widely used in electronic and electrical fields, such as TV tuner plates, coil cores, microwave insulation parts, shielding sleeves, high-frequency printed circuit boards, high-voltage electronic components, and housings of TVs, computers, fax machines and copiers; also applied in automotive industry (instrument panel parts, window frames, shock absorbers, pump filter screens), mechanical industry (gears, bearings, pump impellers, fan impellers) and chemical industry (corrosion-resistant parts such as pipes, valves, filter plates and submersible pumps).
