- 白色硬而脆，跌落于地上有金属响声，透光率仅次于有机玻璃，耐水性、化学稳定性良好，有优良的阻燃性，为不燃塑料。电绝缘性优良（尤其高频绝缘性）。密度约1.35 g/cm³，熔点约285℃，长期使用温度可达260℃，在400℃的空气或氮气中保持稳定。强度一般，刚性很好，但质脆，易产生应力脆裂，不耐苯、汽油等有机溶剂。流动性介于ABS和PC之间，凝固快，收缩小，易分解。

Physical Properties:White, hard and brittle, produces a metallic ringing sound when dropped on the floor; light transmittance is second only to acrylic; good water resistance and chemical stability; excellent flame retardancy, non-flammable plastic. Excellent electrical insulation, especially at high frequencies. Density approx. 1.35 g/cm³, melting point approx. 285°C, long-term service temperature up to 260°C, stable in air or nitrogen at 400°C. General strength, good rigidity, but brittle, prone to stress cracking; not resistant to benzene, gasoline and other organic solvents. Flowability between ABS and PC, fast solidification, low shrinkage, easy to decompose.
Uses:Suitable for manufacturing brushes, brush holders, starter coils, shielding covers and blades in generators and engines; high-voltage housings, sockets, terminals and terminal boards in televisions; frames and housings for transformers, chokes and relays, integrated circuit carriers; also used for H-class bobbin and trimmer capacitors by utilizing high-frequency performance. Its outstanding features are high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and superior mechanical properties.
