Physical Properties:Ethylene acrylic acid copolymer is a thermoplastic polymer with extremely high adhesiveness. Due to the presence of carboxyl groups and hydrogen bonding, crystallization is inhibited and the linearity of the main chain is disrupted, resulting in improved transparency and toughness while lowering melting point and softening point. Density 0.932 g/cm³, appearance as transparent pellets. Insoluble in cold water, soluble in hot alkaline solutions; excellent adhesion to metals, paper, glass, wood and many other substrates.
Uses:Used for extrusion/coextrusion coating and lamination, applicable in packaging materials, powder coatings, adhesives, hot melt adhesives and water-based adhesives. It provides excellent hot tack and adhesion to metal, paper and polyethylene substrates, and is suitable for composite packaging such as beverage cartons, toothpaste tubes and cable shielding layers, as well as bonding layers for difficult-to-bond materials and anti-corrosion coatings.
