The sulfide in the sample is converted to hydrogen sulfide by acidification and purging, then carried by nitrogen into an absorption solution for quantitative analysis by methylene blue spectrophotometry. It is suitable for sulfide detection in laboratories for environmental protection, aquaculture, wastewater treatment, and related fields.
