Physical Properties:TPEE 1040D is supplied as white/off-white translucent pellets with a Shore D hardness of 40 and a density of about 1.15 g/cm³. It features excellent creep resistance and fatigue resistance, high impact strength and good low-temperature elasticity, outstanding chemical resistance to oils and various solvents, and excellent heat resistance up to 160°C. It also exhibits good mechanical properties, good adhesion with ABS, PC, PVC, and can be easily colored and recycled.
Uses:It is used for automotive parts (e.g., airbag components, door lock assemblies, damping plates, silencing gears), electrical and electronic applications (e.g., cable sheaths, elastic keypads, antenna housings), shoe materials (e.g., soles, skate and roller skate wheels), and industrial manufacturing (e.g., elevator guide rails, high-pressure gaskets). It is also suitable for blow-molded dust covers, protective sleeves, bellows, and convoluted tubes, as well as power tools, sporting goods, household products, and plastic alloys.
