Physical Properties:TPEE 21UV is a thermoplastic polyester elastomer with a Shore D hardness of about 21, a density of approximately 1.08–1.18 g/cm³, and a melting point of about 170–200°C. Its brittleness temperature is below -70°C, and it maintains good mechanical properties over a wide service temperature range of -70°C to 200°C. The material exhibits excellent elastic recovery, impact resistance, fatigue resistance, oil resistance, and chemical resistance, and has good weatherability due to added UV stabilizers. It also features low water absorption and outstanding abrasion resistance; its hot-water resistance is moderate, which can be improved by adding stabilizers.
Uses:TPEE 21UV is suitable for applications requiring high elasticity, impact resistance, flex fatigue resistance, and UV resistance, such as wire and cable sheaths, hydraulic hoses, sealing rings, automotive components, transmission belts, shoe materials, and outdoor sporting goods.
