Physical Properties:Thermoplastic polyester elastomer block copolymer composed of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) hard segments and polyether soft segments. Supplied as translucent to milky-white pellets with a density of about 1.15 g/cm³, Shore D hardness of about 30, melting point of about 190°C, glass transition temperature below -50°C, and service temperature range of -40 to 120°C. It features good elastic recovery, flexural fatigue resistance, resistance to oils, solvents and many chemicals, good weatherability, and low water absorption.
Uses:Suitable for injection molding and extrusion processing, it is used to manufacture automotive sealing strips, shock-absorbing components, corrugated hoses, cable sheaths, drive belts, and sporting goods parts. Its excellent low-temperature flexibility and chemical resistance make it widely used in automotive, electronics, and industrial sealing applications.
