Physical Properties:The product is a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, typically supplied as translucent or opaque pellets/chips. Shore D hardness varies with grade, ranging from approximately 40D to 82D; density is about 1.10–1.25 g/cm³. It has a relatively high melting temperature, and certain grades exhibit a higher melt temperature than similar products. It maintains good flexibility at both low and high temperatures, exhibits excellent resistance and low permeation to oils, fuels, solvents, water and other media, and features good heat-aging resistance and thermal stability.
Uses:It is widely used in food conveyor belts, hose sheaths, wire and cable jackets, films and tape closures, gaskets, gears and bearings. With excellent oil, fuel and permeation resistance, it is also suitable for automotive fuel tanks, airbag doors, electrical connectors, oilfield parts and blow-molded hollow products. It can additionally be used in profiles, molded products, packaging and sealing applications.
