Physical Properties:TPU has a wide hardness range (Shore A 60 to Shore D 80), high mechanical strength, outstanding cold resistance, good processability, and resistance to oil, water, and mold. It has a density of approximately 1.10–1.25 g/cm³. When cooled from room temperature to the transition temperature (−4 to −12°C), hardness does not change significantly and then increases sharply at the transition temperature. For coating inks, it offers excellent abrasion resistance, high toughness, anti-blocking performance, excellent adhesion, low viscosity, good flex resistance, high gloss, and outstanding weatherability. It is compatible with ketone solvent systems.
Uses:It is widely used in daily necessities, sporting goods, toys, decorative materials, automotive parts, mechanical industrial components, garment accessories, footwear, pipes and hoses, films and sheets, wire and cable, as well as for processes such as calendering, blow molding, blow film, solution, and coating inks. In the ink sector, it is used in various shoe material inks, screen printing inks, and coating color pastes.
