Physical Properties:Colorless to pale yellow translucent pellets. Density 1.10–1.25 g/cm³, excellent abrasion resistance, tear resistance and flex fatigue resistance. Resists oils and many chemicals, good low-temperature toughness and wide service temperature range. Good melt processability for injection molding, extrusion and blow molding.
Uses:Widely used in engineering products, automotive components, transmission belts, hoses, cable sheathing, films and extruded profiles. In footwear it is used for sport shoe air cushions, outsoles and fabric lamination; in textiles for waterproof and breathable composite fabrics; and in defense and sports goods for airbags, life jackets and inflatable products. Its excellent abrasion resistance and low-temperature toughness also make it outstanding in industrial seals and wire/cable jacketing.
