Physical Properties:TPU DP3491A is an extrusion-grade thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer with a density of 1.2 g/cm³ (ISO 1183), hardness of 92 Shore A (ISO 868), tensile strength of 50 MPa (200 mm/min, ISO 527-1,-3), and elongation at break of 500% (200 mm/min, ISO 527-1,-3). It exhibits high mechanical strength, excellent abrasion resistance, oil resistance, water resistance and fungal resistance, with outstanding low-temperature flexibility (remaining elastic at -35°C). It remains flexible over a temperature range of -40°C to 120°C, requires no plasticizers, and is resistant to oils, solvents, weathering and high-energy radiation. It also offers good processability (injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, calendering).
Uses:Suitable for extrusion, extrusion blow molding and injection molding to produce high-strength engineering parts. Typical applications include automotive parts (dust covers, bushings, bearings, anti-vibration components, etc.), mechanical industry components (gears, seals, couplings, etc.), hoses and tubes (high-pressure and hydraulic hoses, medical tubes), films and sheets, wires and cables, and footwear materials.
