Physical Properties:TPU U-8 is a polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer, supplied as transparent or translucent pellets. Density is approximately 1.10-1.25 g/cm³, with Shore hardness of 85A-95A. It exhibits excellent abrasion resistance, oil resistance, low-temperature flexibility, and high elasticity, with tensile strength ≥35 MPa and elongation at break ≥400%. Processing temperature range is 170-210°C, and it can be used long-term from -40°C to 80°C. It is soluble in polar solvents such as DMF and THF, but insoluble in water, alcohols, and most non-polar solvents.
Uses:Mainly used for shoe outsoles, shoe components, and other engineering injection-molded products. It is suitable for injection molding processes and can be used to manufacture abrasion-resistant soles, industrial casters, seals, conveyor belts, hoses, and automotive parts.
