Physical Properties:TPV 8051BS is a thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) produced by dynamic vulcanization of EPDM rubber with polypropylene (PP), combining rubber-like elasticity with thermoplastic processability. It is supplied as black pellets with a density of approx. 0.95 g/cm³. It exhibits excellent ozone, weather and aging resistance over a wide service temperature range from -40°C to +135°C, along with low compression set, good oil and chemical resistance, and recyclability.
Uses:Widely used for automotive sealing strips, building and door/window weather seals, dust covers, wire harness conduits, vibration-damping components, hoses, gaskets and industrial rubber parts. It can replace conventional vulcanized rubber and is suitable for injection molding and extrusion processes; the material is recyclable.
