Physical Properties:Semi-transparent or opaque milky white pellets. Thermoplastic, lightweight, tough, with good chemical resistance and durability. Density approx. 1.12–1.14 g/cm³, melting point approx. 220°C. Hygroscopic; thorough drying is required before processing.
Uses:Suitable for injection molding of automotive parts, mechanical components, electronic and electrical products, and engineering fittings. As a low-viscosity PA6 grade, it is especially suitable for thin-walled, long-flow, and structurally complex injection-molded parts.
Technical Specifications:
Drying: if moisture content exceeds 0.2%, dry in hot air above 80°C for 16 h; if exposed to air for more than 8 h, vacuum-dry at 105°C for at least 8 h.
Melting temperature: 230–280°C (250–280°C for reinforced grades).
Mold temperature: 80–90°C; higher mold temperature is recommended for structural parts and thin-walled/long-flow parts; 20–40°C low mold temperature may be used when wall thickness exceeds 3 mm.
Injection pressure: 750–1250 bar; high injection speed is recommended, slightly reduced for glass-fiber-reinforced materials.
Gate design: gate diameter should not be less than 0.5×T (T = wall thickness); use smaller gates with hot runners; minimum diameter of submarine gate is 0.75 mm.
