Physical Properties:Semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyester resin with excellent dimensional stability, low warpage, good weatherability, and high surface gloss. Excellent chemical resistance to hydrocarbons, dilute acids, alkalis, detergents, and most saline solutions. Good thermal performance with relative temperature index (RTI) up to 140°C and good low-temperature performance at -40°C. Some flame-retardant grades pass UL94 5VA and glow wire test at 960°C. Good flowability for thin-wall molding.
Uses:Used in electronic and electrical components such as connectors, switch parts, household appliances and accessories; automotive exterior parts (grilles, alternator heat-dissipation covers), interior parts (mirror brackets, wiper brackets, control system valves) and automotive electrical parts (ignition coil bobbins, electrical connectors); in mechanical equipment for making video tape recorder belt drive shafts, computer housings, mercury lamp covers, electric iron covers, gears, buttons, electronic watch cases, and camera components.
