Physical Properties:This product appears as milky white to light yellow opaque solid particles, with a melting point of 110-120°C, density of 0.85±0.01 g/cm³, kinematic viscosity of 2000-12000 mPa·s (at 170°C), flash point of 200-240°C (closed cup), and trace ash content. It is insoluble in water at room temperature but soluble in aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents, exhibiting good adhesion, compatibility, and chemical corrosion resistance.
Uses:It is mainly used in the production of APP-modified asphalt waterproofing membranes, significantly improving the high-temperature flow resistance, low-temperature crack resistance, flexibility, toughness, and cohesion of asphalt. It is also used to manufacture filler masterbatches (compounded with calcium carbonate) and color masterbatches (combined with carbon black, pigments, and dyes) for processing polypropylene, polyethylene, and polyvinyl chloride. Additionally, it is applied in the production of hot-melt adhesives and sealants.
