Physical Properties:Thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) is a dynamically vulcanized blend of polypropylene (PP) and ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) rubber, combining rubber elasticity with thermoplastic processability. It features a halogen-free flame retardant system, density of approximately 0.95-1.15 g/cm³, wide hardness range (Shore A 50-90), service temperature from -40°C to 135°C, and excellent weather resistance, chemical media resistance, and electrical insulation properties.
Uses:Primarily used in automotive components such as sealing strips, wire harness sleeves, and interior parts; also suitable for wire and cable, electronic and electrical enclosures, and other injection-molded products requiring stringent flame retardancy.
