Physical Properties:Zytel PA66 70G33L is a 33% glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 resin, supplied as off-white pellets. It has a density of approximately 1.38 g/cm³ and a melting point of about 260°C. It exhibits high mechanical strength, rigidity and heat resistance, with relatively high water absorption (approximately 0.7% in 24 hours and about 7% at saturation). It is resistant to solvents, oils and weak alkalis, and has good electrical insulation properties.
Uses:This grade is mainly used in automotive applications such as engine covers, radiator end caps, intake manifolds, automotive connectors and structural components. It is also suitable for electronic/electrical and mechanical parts requiring high strength and stiffness.
