Uses:Used as a chemical analytical reagent for the determination of alkaloids and glycosides, and for the testing of protein-free blood filtrate and serum protein. In the fertilizer industry, it is used for the determination of total phosphorus and available phosphorus in superphosphate. It also serves as a corrosion inhibitor in circulating water systems, often compounded with polyphosphates, gluconates, etc., to significantly enhance inhibition efficiency and reduce dosage. Additionally, it is used in the manufacture of pigments, catalysts, molybdenum salts, flame retardants, and metal inhibitors for environmentally friendly cold-water systems, as well as in the preparation of plant tissue culture media.
