Uses:Dipropylene glycol is a common solvent in flavors, fragrances and cosmetics, with excellent co-solvency for water, oils and hydrocarbons. It has a mild odor, low skin irritation, and can be used at over 50% in perfumes, while generally within 10% in other cosmetic applications. It also serves as a coupling agent and humectant, widely used in wave lotions, skin cleansers, deodorants, skin care products and lipsticks. Additionally, it is used in the production of unsaturated and saturated resins, imparting good flexibility, crack resistance, weather resistance and long-term yellowing resistance.
