Insoluble in water; miscible with ethanol, diethyl ether, chloroform and other organic solvents. It features strong permeability, good wetting, and resistance to photodegradation.
Uses:Mainly used as a pesticide solvent and synergist, applicable in oil suspension concentrates and emulsifiable concentrates for herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides. It enhances the penetration and wetting of spray solutions, improves efficacy, and extends the duration of effectiveness. Also used as a metalworking lubricant, plasticizer, and biodiesel feedstock.
