Physical Properties:Colorless crystals or white granular powder, odorless, with a salty and cool taste. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in acetone and ether. Decomposes into ammonia and hydrogen chloride upon heating. Aqueous solution is weakly acidic.
Uses:Used as nitrogen fertilizer, suitable for various crops, especially effective for chlorine-loving crops. Also used as a soldering flux for metal welding, an additive in electroplating baths, and a precipitating agent or buffer in analytical chemistry. Furthermore, it is applied in dry batteries, printing and dyeing, and pharmaceutical industries.
