Physical Properties:This product is a yellow to orange solid, soluble in organic solvents such as dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Fluo 3-AM is an acetoxymethyl ester derivative of Fluo-3 with cell membrane permeability. After entering cells, it is hydrolyzed by intracellular esterases to Fluo-3, which exhibits significantly enhanced fluorescence upon binding to calcium ions. Excitation wavelength: approximately 506 nm; emission wavelength: approximately 526 nm.
Uses:As a calcium ion fluorescent indicator, it is used to detect changes in intracellular free calcium ion concentration, widely applied in cell signal transduction, neuroscience, and drug screening research.
