Physical Properties:Yellow to orange-yellow powder, odorless. Insoluble in water, ethanol, oils and other organic solvents; can be dispersed and suspended in media. It has good light resistance, heat resistance and alkali resistance, and is stable under normal food processing conditions. It may slowly decompose and release the parent dye in strong acid.
Uses:Used as a food additive colorant for fruit juice beverages, carbonated drinks, prepared wines, confectionery, pastry decoration, ice cream, yogurt and jelly; especially suitable for oily foods, candy coatings and dry beverages requiring insoluble pigments. Use within the limits specified by GB 2760, alone or combined with other colorants.
