Uses:Cy5 azide is a cyanine-based near-infrared fluorescent dye. It can be conjugated with alkyne-containing biomolecules such as antibodies, proteins and nucleic acids via azide-alkyne click chemistry for fluorescence labeling and imaging. With high molar extinction coefficient, good photostability and low background, it is suitable for fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry and in vivo imaging.
