Uses:Primarily used as a dry-cleaning solvent; it has been widely adopted in the dry-cleaning industry since the 1940s due to its strong degreasing ability and recoverability for reuse. It is also used as a metal degreasing solvent, oil extraction agent, smoke agent, desulfurizing agent, and fabric finishing agent.
