Uses:This product is an adrenal cortex inhibitor that reduces the synthesis of adrenocortical hormones such as cortisol by inhibiting 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase. It is clinically used for the treatment of Cushing's syndrome and is also used in veterinary medicine for canine Cushing's disease.
