Uses:Widely used as a corrosion inhibitor and rust preventive for non-ferrous metals such as copper and silver. It can be added to recirculating cooling water systems, antifreeze fluids, lubricants, and metalworking fluids to prevent oxidation and corrosion on metal surfaces. Also used as a photographic developing agent and as an intermediate in organic synthesis.
