Physical Properties:White crystalline powder, odorless; density approx. 1.85 g/cm³; low solubility in cold water; high thermal stability with decomposition temperature above 300℃; good compatibility with polymer matrices, providing char-forming and smoke-suppression effects.
Uses:Used as a halogen-free flame retardant for polyamides, polyesters, polyolefins and thermosetting resins such as epoxy. It can also be compounded with other flame-retardant additives in intumescent fire-retardant coatings and flame-retardant composites, imparting good flame retardancy and smoke suppression.
