Uses:Cisplatin is a first-generation platinum-based anticancer drug, widely used in chemotherapy for testicular, ovarian, bladder and head-and-neck cancers. It binds to tumor cell DNA to form platinum-DNA adducts, thereby inhibiting DNA replication and transcription and inducing tumor cell apoptosis.
