Physical Properties:White to yellowish-white powder, insoluble in water, soluble in hot ethanol, ether and turpentine, slightly soluble in hot vegetable oils and paraffin oil. Melting point 150-155℃, relative density 1.08, possessing lubricating and mold-release properties.
Uses:Used as an excellent mold release agent in tablet manufacturing, suitable for direct powder compression processes, improving powder flowability and reducing sticking to punches. Also applied in the production of various food seasonings such as honey powder, garlic salt, meat tenderizer and salad dressing, serving as an anticaking agent and stabilizer.
