Uses:Primarily used as a catalyst for hydrogenation of olefins and alkynes, and is one of the most widely applied catalysts in homogeneous catalysis. It is also employed in desulfurization, dehydrogenation, isomerization and carbonylation reactions, with significant applications in organic synthesis and pharmaceutical intermediate production.
