Insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as acetone and toluene, miscible with acid anhydride curing agents such as MTHPA and MHHPA at room temperature. Cured products exhibit excellent heat resistance, high glass transition temperature and low moisture absorption.
Uses:Used as an acid anhydride curing agent for epoxy resins, especially suitable for filament winding, pultrusion, powder coatings, electrical casting and room-temperature epoxy prepreg processes. It can be blended with anhydrides such as MTHPA and MHHPA to reduce viscosity and improve handling. The cured products feature excellent heat resistance, toughness, abrasion resistance and low moisture permeability.
