Uses:Ceftobiprole is a fifth-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, especially effective against resistant strains such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and penicillin-resistant Streptococcus pneumoniae. It is clinically used for the treatment of hospital-acquired pneumonia, community-acquired pneumonia, and complicated skin and soft tissue infections.
