Uses:Mainly used in the manufacture of unsaturated polyester resins, alkyd resins, and polyurethanes. Also employed as a plasticizer, surfactant, antifreeze agent, and humectant in cosmetics, as well as an intermediate in pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals.
