Physical Properties:White to off-white crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents. Melting point 194-198°C. Stable at room temperature when protected from light.
Uses:This product is a plant growth regulator and growth inhibitor. It inhibits the synthesis of gibberellins in plants, thereby suppressing stem elongation. It is mainly used for dwarfing and height control of potted flowers, lawns and hedge plants, and can also be applied to gramineous crops to prevent lodging and improve stress resistance.
