Uses:Acetosyringone is an important phenolic inducer in plant tissue culture and plant genetic engineering. It activates the Agrobacterium VirA/VirG two-component signal system, efficiently promoting T-DNA transfer into the plant genome and significantly improving transformation efficiency of Agrobacterium-mediated genetic manipulation. It is widely used in the preparation of transgenic plants.
