Melting point approximately 60°C, density approximately 1.1 g/cm³, readily soluble in organic solvents such as chloroform and dichloromethane.
Uses:Used in biodegradable plastics, medical materials, adhesives, and coatings. Its low-temperature moldability and excellent adhesive properties make it suitable for hot-melt adhesives and biomedical scaffold materials; good compatibility with various polymers enables its use as a toughening modifier for materials such as polylactic acid.
