Uses:Clobetasol propionate is a synthetic high-potency topical corticosteroid for local application. It has strong anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive effects, with anti-inflammatory activity approximately 112.5 times that of hydrocortisone, 2.3 times that of betamethasone sodium phosphate, and 18.7 times that of fluocinolone acetonide. It also inhibits cell mitosis and can effectively penetrate the stratum corneum of the skin.
