Uses:Mainly used as a biocide and algaecide in industrial cooling water and swimming pool water, effectively killing and inhibiting planktonic and sessile algae, with additional biodispersant and bioclarifying effects. It can be used at low dosages in recirculating cooling water or synergistically with bromochlorodimethylhydantoin; also serves as a cationic flocculant in wastewater treatment and sludge dewatering.
