Uses:Used as an organic synthesis intermediate, for example as a substrate for the intramolecular oxidative coupling with CuCl(OH)-TMEDA to synthesize binaphthol-based macrocyclic ethers; also used as a crosslinking agent, plasticizer and surfactant raw material.
