Slightly soluble in water; soluble in organic solvents such as acetone, ethyl acetate, and toluene. Readily reacts with compounds containing active hydrogen such as alcohols and amines.
Uses:Primarily used in the manufacture of polyurethane flexible foams, elastomers, coatings, adhesives, and sealants. Also used in the production of polyurethane-based synthetic leather, fibers, and waterproofing materials.
