Uses:This product, known as No. 25 Black Agent, possesses both collecting and frothing properties. It is an effective collector for lead, copper, silver sulfide ores and activated zinc sulfide ore, commonly used in lead-zinc selective flotation. In alkaline circuits it has weak collecting power for pyrite and other iron sulfides, but in neutral or acidic media it acts as a strong non-selective collector for all sulfide ores. Since it is only slightly soluble in water, it should be added as the original liquid into conditioning tanks or ball mills.
